Blake graduated from Mississippi State University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. While an undergrad, Blake participated in the Famous Maroon Band and the Seawolf Underwater Robotics Engineering Club. Blake competed in the MATE international ROV competition having completed the technical and marketing documentation for the club as well as helping design and construct SEAWOLF ROVs. Blake is currently pursuing his Masters in Architecture at Southern Illinois University Carbondale.

Blake joined Eggemeyer Associates Architects full-time in 2022 while attending SIUC. He has experience in structural and civil engineering as he worked as an engineering draftsman before joining Eggemeyer. Blake lives in Zeigler, Illinois. He enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, biking, and kayaking. He also enjoys playing saxophone in the Southern Illinois Concert Band.
