IL-65-1/Flora (Units 213/215 Sycamore):
Work includes abatement of existing ACM flooring, mastic, and drywall. Remove the existing hot water baseboard heating system and patch the slab. Replace the sanitary piping below slab and in the walls and extend to 5' on the exterior to a new two-way cleanout. Install new toilet, lavatory and tub. Install a washer box for the laundry area. Replace the shutoff valve on the main water line. Replace the existing kitchen cabinets, sink, and countertop. Install a new range hood. Install a new sink base in the bathroom, new medicine cabinet and toilet accessories, Remove the existing through wall unit receptacle and replace with a standard duplex receptacle. Remove the accordion doors from the bedroom and closets. Replace the pocket door to the bathroom. Install new vinyl plank flooring, patch and skim coat walls, paint the entire unit. Install a lockable access panel in the kitchen for access to the plumbing for the tub. Install a new solid surface tub surround with grab bars. Remove and replace the existing furnace and water heaters.
IL-65-5/Flora (Montgomery Court):
Work includes removal and replacement of the existing exterior dwelling unit doors and hardware. Install storm doors on the units except for the two-story family units. Replace the hardware on the storage units and paint the storage unit and mechanical unit doors. Remove and replace the existing porch lights with fixtures provided by the PHA.
